How to understand if an accident could be preventable and the percentage of fault?

Just ask yourself if this could be prevented and how will you do, it as a professional driver next time. Take into consideration all the factors and all evidence to assume the percentage at fault. There are three main indicators that may lead to a preventable accident: Speed, following distance, and weather conditions. Each indicator on its own can lead to an accident. The National Safety Council's definition of a preventable accident is “An accident in which the driver failed to do everything reasonable to prevent it.” Defensive driving means “driving to prevent accidents in spite of the incorrect actions of others and the adverse conditions.”

By checking and monitoring the hours available on Logbook, a driver can approximatively predict when the load will be delivered based on mileage and speed limit and find a parking spot a minimum an hour before the driving limits are up as use the extra tool as Trucker Path app.

Why do drivers need to pass training?A good driver training program can provide defensive driving instruction and discussions of accident types and can reduce the likelihood of an accident occurring. Additionally, having knowledge of road safety can prevent many of the dangers of the road and make the roads safer for everyone.

How do I correctly read an iPass?

A green light indicates a bypass and a red light indicates that the driver must pull into the weigh station. If a driver does not receive a light on the PrePass transponder at a weigh station, the driver is required to pull into that station.
